Background:

I have over 25 years of experience in avalanche operations and have been involved in professional level avalanche training with the Canadian Avalanche Association  since the late 1980's. I am a registered Qualified Avalanche Planner and a professional member of the Canadian Avalanche Association. I am also a member of the development team of the Applied Avalanche Risk Management course (CAA Level 3) developed by the Canadian Avalanche Association. My  experience includes applied forecasting, hazard planning and hazard mitigation for helicopter,snowcat skiing and mountain guiding operations; mountain safety for the film industry and technical snowpack and terrain data collection for a variety of applications  .
