Rocky Mountain Ski Lodge: Nice local accommodation run by Swiss/Canadian guide Hans Peter Stettler. Best blues
harmonica player this side of the Missippippi!

Lake O'Hara Lodge: One of the most beautiful places in the Rockies. I am usually there for a week most winters ski guiding and several times in the summer for the really scenic alpine climbing.

Boulder Adventures: My friends Mark and Sarah Yancy own and operate this fun backcountry ski chalet in the Purcell Mountains near Kimberly B.C. I have guided there many times. Great terrain; fun folks, nice atomosphere - best hot tub in the known universe!

Bear Mountaineering and the Burnie Glacier Chalet: My friend and colleague Christoph Dietzfelbinger operates this facility and a guiding service near Smithers B.C. - some of the most accessible skiing in western Canada- only 1 hour from Calgary or Vancouver! Christoph and I will collaboratively offer some ski tours at Burnie for the 2012 season.

Cold Thistle Blog and Burns Custom Tools:The blog and website of my old friend Dane Burns. Dane and I climbed and guided together in the early 80's. Dane is still at it and as a skilled gunsmith and keen alpinist maintains his blog, re-manufactures custom ice tools and does custom work on hand guns...that is when he is not out climbing! Check it out!
